About me

I'm Constantin, a 22 year-old software developer originally from Moldova, currently living in Denmark. My introduction to programming was at 11 years old, when I was entrusted with the task of helping my older brother build a website in WordPress. After learning the basics of HTML and CSS, I was fascinated by the idea of creating something that could be accessed by anyone in the world.

At 15 years old, I started to take programming more seriously. I began learning front-end development, while building small projects on the side with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I then moved on to learning computer science fundamentals with the CS50 course from Harvard University, which had a big impact on me.

In the following years, I continued to dive deeper into the world of web development, by learning about back-end development and databases, which helped me create more complex projects.

After finishing high school, I relocated to Denmark to study software engineering. While being a student, I started working as a front-end developer at a local startup in the business consulting industry, which accelerated my learning significantly. It was a fast-paced environment, where my responsibilities grew quickly. After one year, I was a full-stack developer, working on two different web applications and a mobile app.

Over the years, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of languages, but I've always been most passionate about the JavaScript ecosystem. My tech stack of choice revolves around Next.js, React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS and Supabase.

Besides programming, I'm also passionate about entrepreneurship, fitness and health (I was even considering becoming a nutritionist when I was younger). As an ambitious and curious person, I'm always interested in expanding my knowledge and skills across different fields.

Fast forward to today, I'm focused on building Refined - a web development agency.
